Age of Sin
01:42
|
|||
Reject the order of creation
Revel in the annihilation of man as the image of god
Destroy patriarchy, Plot designs of death
Welcome to the Age of Sin!
Disfigure the face of Man and woman
Your body is your temple decorate it how you like
don't let others' discomfort box you in
Welcome to the Age of Sin!
(Instrumental)
Be the gender you've wanted to be
protect those who cannot yet be themselves
Reject the order of creation
Welcome to the Age of Sin!
Welcome to the Age of Sin!

D&D Identity
01:34
|
|||
This elf is agender and doesn't like boxes
this paladin, she likes to flirt with the lasses
This bard is non-binary, use em and ey
My druid likes dogs, not people, ok?
Who do I want to be?
So many possibilities
I can't quite decide
let me put on a role for awhile
My atheist cleric, thrown out on their own
a halfling who was feeling stifled at home
this wizard's a tinker, and collects bits of writing
a dragon born who throws lots of lightning!
Should I live in the woods
or do research or art?
so many roles to try
tank, healer, bard, to flirt or be shy?
Who do I want to be?
So many possibilities
I can't quite decide
let me put on a role for awhile

Queer Out Loud
02:11
|
|||
small but strong, head unbowed
set your sights in the clouds
be yourself, out and proud
choose your name, break from the crowd
own your truth, make them say wow
and with us vow, to be Queer Out Loud
don't put me in a box, but let me pick a label
having more words to describe means more kids can self identify,
let us choose or make up words to describe our experience
let me pick a label
small but strong, head unbowed
set your sights in the clouds
be yourself, out and proud
choose your name, break from the crowd
own your truth, make them say wow
and with us vow, to be Queer Out Loud
I say queer for myself,
instead of agender, demipansexual greyromantic, transmasculine
Queer used to be a slur
but it's easier to use than to say the whole long list
small but strong, head unbowed
set your sights in the clouds
be yourself, out and proud
choose your name, break from the crowd
own your truth, make them say wow
and with us vow, to be Queer Out Loud

Strong and soft, protect and care, uplift and support
control your aggression, and feel a larger range of emotions
be traitors to the system
alpha male is the early version before testing and bug fixes.
Not suitable for public. Unstable.
MRAs still use gaslighting and blame feminism
for the things that toxic masculinity causes
the devil needs no advocate, we need no brutal honesty,
what about compassionate, poetic, empowering, insightful honesty
no such thing as friendzone, imagine being fuckzoned
instead take example from Mr. Rogers, Uncle Iroh, Reading Rainbow, or Bob Ross
Strong and soft, protect and care, uplift and support
control your aggression, and feel a larger range of emotions
be traitors to the system

Cancel Culture
03:10
|
|||
Spoken:
People like to complain that Millennials “Cancel” everything from driving cars, getting married, diamonds, landlines, buying houses, cable, banks, golf, beer, and that's just things from the first page of a google search.
Many of those are patently not true. (beer, really?) Now many of the things on that list are because we just don't have money, but that's a different song.
it's true, we do absolutely cancel nazis, toxic people, and brands that don't have ethics. People are right to have boundaries around who they will and won't support, and they don't have to explain their decisions to you.
However this song is about the real cancel culture, and all the things the hypocrites decrying cancel culture have themselves tried to cancel.
Sung:
they cancel basic community needs,
like voting, and health care, or say, queer rights
they even cancel entire indigenous cultures
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
they cancel fun things that make people happy,
D&D, rock music, comics, even starbucks
hey the puritans are the ones who canceled christmas
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
Cancel culture is made up
so conservatives can pretend
they're speaking truth to power
when actually they're just awful
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism
ain't no cancel culture like colonialism

no healing without accountability
no peace without justice
no apologies only changed behavior
No unity without consequences
freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences
intent is not impact
policy and change not thoughts and prayers
No unity without consequences
dudes with talk shows are not canceled
no unity with nazis
an injury to one is an injury to all
No unity without consequences
no healing without accountability
no peace without justice
no apologies only changed behavior
No unity without consequences
No unity without Consequences

7. |

spoken: The was life before the police, and there will be liberation after.
sung:
abolish, defund
Cops shouldn't have guns
gassing protesters proves their point
protest is the language, is the language of the unheard
hippity hoppity
life is more important than property
looting is a valid form of protest
against a system that values property over life
abolish, defund
Cops shouldn't have guns
gassing protesters proves their point
protest is the language, is the language of the unheard
if the only penalty is a fine,
then that law only exists for the lower class
make peaceful protest illegal,
might as well riot
abolish, defund
Cops shouldn't have guns
gassing protesters proves their point
protest is the language, is the language of the unheard
cops:
if you don't do anything illegal
you don't have to worry about ending
ending qualified immunity.
End it now
abolish, defund
Cops shouldn't have guns
gassing protesters proves their point
protest is the language, is the language of the unheard

Bard is a Combat Class
01:49
|
|||
Whether you're casting suggestion, silence,
or vicious mockery, cure wounds, disguise, heroism, enthrall
Bard is a combat class,
Bard is a combat class
What machine did you think
they were raging against?
Artists and athletes are allowed opinions
like anyone else, if you don't agree
we don't want your support
Whether you're casting suggestion, silence,
or vicious mockery, cure wounds, disguise, heroism, enthrall
Bard is a combat class,
Bard is a combat class
Art that is not political just upholds the status quo
the personal is political and social conditions that affect the oppressed
cannot be separated from their economic context\
Whether you're casting suggestion, silence,
or vicious mockery, cure wounds, disguise, heroism, enthrall
Bard is a combat class,
Bard is a combat class
Bard is a combat class,
Bard is a combat class

Spoken:
Is it still capitalism outside? Y'all need to fix that. Do a revolution or something, Damn.
Sung:
Under capitalism, automation is a threat, otherwise, it means freedom
Less labor would be better for both the environment and also us
we could do anything we can imagine, and we chose credit scores and racism
Is it still capitalism outside?
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
do a revolution or something
do a revolution,
damn
there are plenty of reasons to be productive without profit
you're supposed to be exhausted and worried;
it makes it easier to treat you like shit
worrying about the rent means not tearing down the system
the system, Tear It Down!
Is it still capitalism outside?
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
do a revolution or something
do a revolution,
damn
(Instrumental)
Is it still capitalism outside?
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
Let's fix that
do a revolution or something
do a revolution,
damn

Rest is Radical
04:12
|
|||
rest is radical
community care is self care
humans are aggressively social,
that's how we survived
rest is radical
capitalism and hyper productivity culture socialize us
to feel guilt about things that can't be monetized
we are living in an empire within a collapsing ecosystem
Self care feels like the bulldozer at the evergiven
rest is radical
so many things that we call selfcare
are actually basic necessities
rest is radical
rest is radical
community care is self care
humans are aggressively social,
that's how we survived
rest is radical

You Win! Now stop hoarding and help other people
the harm caused by hoarding cannot be undone by philanthropy
the US is more like three corps in a trench coat than an actual country
there's no such thing as socially lib'ral and fiscally conservative
as they sacrifice other's lives to make their money
You Win! Now stop hoarding and help other people
scared of losing money? make it back with super human work ethic, (right?)
if you're poor, money will just trickle down, While you ride the benefits train!
They're not elite, they're the predator class, taking fruits of others labor
they are racing to space without paying their workers
You Win! Now stop hoarding and help other people

They say that money doesn't buy happiness
but all the things I need cost money
I've got 99 problems, and money would solve at least 73 of them
up to 70 thousand per year relieves stress and worry, increasing happiness
They say that money doesn't buy happiness
but all the things I need cost money
things that people call courageous just take money
quit a job? Call off a wedding or leave a marriage? Money helps
They say that money doesn't buy happiness
but all the things I need cost money
that money can't buy happiness is a rebuke to the rich:
use your excess to help others; not that poor people can't complain
They say that money doesn't buy happiness
but all the things I need cost money

Working Blues
03:19
|
|||
I've got the blues,
the working during an extinction event late stage capitalism blues
remember unions are the compromise
Don't fall in love with a system that oppresses you
We need ten years experience for an entry level job
unemployment is more than a starting wage
we feel like failures because we can't keep our homes clean while working
what about a general strike?
minimum wage would be fourty four dollars
if it grew at the rate of wall-street bonuses
not paying a living wage is asking us to
subsidize your desire to have a business
what about a general strike?
I've got the blues,
the working during an extinction event late stage capitalism blues
remember unions are the compromise
Don't fall in love with a system that oppresses you
(Instrumental)
Boss makes a dollar and I make a dime
that was a poem from a simpler time
now Boss makes a thousand and gives us a cent
while he's got employees who can't pay the rent
so when boss makes a million and workers make jack
that's when we riot and take our lives back
I've got the blues,
the working during an extinction event late stage capitalism blues
remember unions are the compromise
Don't fall in love with a system that oppresses you

Dystopian Protagonist
02:32
|
|||
Are you overwhelmed by how the real world
is a genuine dystopian nightmare
but everyone keeps acting normal?
you are the protagonist
in this our shared dystopian
apocalyptic nightmare
so act like it!
bend the plot to your will
wear whatever you want
build the future you want to see
and Fight for your community
A system based on infinite economic growth
does not fit a planet with limited resources
you are the protagonist
in this our shared dystopian
apocalyptic nightmare
so act like it!
bend the plot to your will
wear whatever you want
build the future you want to see
and Fight for your community
capitalism tricks you into thinking
freedom is 27 flavors of ice cream
instead of material conditions
that allow for the pursuit of your creative potential
I want to be creative,
but all my energy is spent surviving
you are the protagonist
in this our shared dystopian
apocalyptic nightmare
so act like it!
bend the plot to your will
wear whatever you want
build the future you want to see
and Fight for your community
we are the protagonists
in this our shared dystopian
apocalyptic nightmare
let's act like it!
bend the plot to our will
wear whatever we want
build the future we want to see
and Fight for our community

Make It Fair
03:06
|
|||
Spoken:
Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world's grief.
Do justly now, love mercy now, walk humbly now
You are not obligated to complete the work,
but neither are you free to abandon it.
life isn't fair, don't get used to it,
do your part to make it fair
cut me some slack
I believe in a future
without white supremacy
and the gender binary
life isn't fair, don't get used to it,
do your part to make it fair
we can make it to
star trek post scarcity (make it so!)
If we remove the artificial barriers of capitalism,
we have enough
life isn't fair, don't get used to it,
do your part to make it fair
being a leftist is being constantly gaslit
as you point out problems
but the solutions you offer
are always “too good to be true”
If you've come to help me you're wasting your time.
But if you've come because your liberation is bound up with mine,
let us work together.
life isn't fair, don't get used to it,
do your part to make it fair
